This Dino GT4 arrived at European Auto Restoration with engine troubles and significant rust damage hiding in the structure. To repair the structural rust the entire vehicle was dismantled and stripped to bare metal. Then all of the damaged metal was repaired with hand fabricated metal patches and panels. After the entire chassis and panels were solid metal again every surface was epoxy primed and refinished with Glasurit primers and finishes. It was returned to its original color 'Marrone Metallizato' which is a rare metallic brown, especially for a Ferrari. After all of the panels and trim were reinstalled the original US bumpers were fit and installed. The restoration process began in 2021 and was mostly complete by the end of 2025. The Dino was sent home in 2026 after extensive road testing.
