This original owner Volvo was extremely well cared for and driven for many years before being tucked away in storage. The time came at last to pull this old fella, who we call Atticus, out of storage and breathe some life back into him. With considerable rust damage to contend with we ended up using metal panels and parts from two other donor Volvos to make this one whole and hale once again. The car spent many months on the frame bench while panels were carefully aligned and fabricated. It now sports its lovely original dark blue color and sits upon refinished suspension with its new whitewall tires. Soon the interior, engine and other mechanicals will be reunited with the chassis. Behind the wheel once again we hope the owner is transported back to 1971.
