1971 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV
This 1971 Alfa Romeo GTV 1750 was delivered from the factory in Grigio Chiaro Metallic 727, which was the inspiration for her name. Chiara spent her entire life in California with only two previous owners; the first one for two years and the second owner for over 50 years! Her second family drove her for approximately 69,000 of her 76,000 miles, which are believed to be original. Although she was repainted long ago and the cabin was re-trimmed in 2018, she retains many of her original factory bits and pieces.
Chiara was purchased by her current owners on one of their birthdays as a special gift. She made the journey by covered transport from California to Michigan where she is learning about spirited drives along the lake, cooler fall temperatures, and getting acquainted with her car siblings which include a 1989 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio. The goal of her upcoming restoration will be honoring her history and bringing everything back to original factory condition.
