This 280 SL suffered from collision damage to the nose, hood and grille area. While repairing the accident damage additional rust damage was uncovered and needed to be repaired. The engine bay and engine were both degreased. Next the engine bay will get a fresh coat of paint when the refinished areas are painted and the engine will be resealed before it is reinstalled.
